no-heat sweets
As a big baker, I don’t like to give up my hobby just because the weather is warm and having the oven on is uncomfortable. That’s why I’m excited to try out some no-bake recipes this summer! I only recently discovered how delicious no-bakes can be (using this recipe, which was amazing!!), everyone should give it a shot. In a sense, the whole process is faster and easier (I’ll take that any day).
Does it get better than a summer s’more no-bake!? Cannot wait to try this one.

Does anyone else ever find themselves ogling at those Chanel-esque, tweedy jackets that seem to be popping up everywhere these days? I love the classic, structured and expensive look of this trend, and would love to own one in every color, shape and length. Here are a few I wouldn’t mind adding to my closet (all from Zara, of course)!

weekend wishing

I love waking up on weekends to sunshine and warmth – even when it’s still early in the day. How nice might it be to sleep in and have a cup of coffee (iced, perhaps?) and a flaky croissant (preferably of the chocolate variety), all while remaining in comfortable pajamas while sitting in the sun. I know I will be taking this thought right into the weekend and hopefully making this a reality over the next two days. Have a good one!
attics reinvented
My parents’ house has an attic, but I never go up there. In fact, usually I forget it exists at all. But after spying these spaces, I imagine the potential if the attic at home were to magically clean itself out and become a livable space. I love that the ceiling of a typical attic is already vaulted, adding height and dimension. Here are two spaces I’d love to recreate if I had my own attic to work with!

J.Crew is a store that is priced just above my price range, but thankfully they have frequent sales and very good sales. Here’s a top that I’ve been coveting for weeks and I’m crossing my fingers it will be on sale soon. It’s a lot brighter in person and such a great summer shirt – perfect for work, casual wear, and for going out at night for a fun time. Can’t you just see it pairing perfectly with crisp, white jeans or navy shorts?!

Now that spring is in full swing, there are days when all I want to do is sit outside, soak up the sun and read a good book (or catch up on my favorite blogs). This time of year has me yearning for the perfect front porch (the best room in the house!) for my “me” time. Any of these will do, thanks!
