jarring concoctions

I’m all about presentation (and portability) when it comes to baking. Jars certainly serve as beautiful packaging while also giving a covered home for your tasty treats to live in (for as long as you can hold off on eating them!). Not to mention, they also allow for super easy personalization (simply add a cute gift tag or label)! Plus, what better way than to put to use old jam jars than to bake in them?! It seems like a win-win for all.

Some of my favorite food bloggers have featured some delicious recipes baked into jars, and I decided to follow suit. I made this Cinna-Butter Cake as a thank you gift to my boss from my most recent summer internship. It’s as good as it looks and sounds – super rich, extra creamy and perfectly portioned within its little jar 🙂
